GNT Overview
The GNT is a
major ACBL team championship held each year. Teams compete at Club, Unit, and
District qualifying games. District winners compete at the Summer North
American Bridge Championships (NABC).
Flights
The GNT has
four flights based on accumulated masterpoints.
· Flight C is for
players who have less than 500 masterpoints and are
non Life Masters.
· Flight B is for
players who have less than 2,500 masterpoints.
· Flight A is for
players who have less than 6,000 masterpoints.
· The Open Championship Flight is open to anyone.

Competitions
Qualification
requirements are different depending on the Flight.
Flight A and Open Championship Flight Players begin their GNT journey at the
District Championships.
The top one
or two District winning teams in each of the four Flights advance to the North American
GNT championship.
Calendar
There are no more club qualification games in Unit 207.
The District 16 GNT championships will be
held in Houston August 7-9, 2020.
The North American GNT championship will be
held in Tampa during the Fall NABC (November 26- December 6, 2020).
